Vacancies on Internationalisation Task Group

19 August 2019

The AGCAS Internationalisation Task Group are seeking two new members.

About the Task Group

The group aims to provide training, a community of support and resources for careers staff working with international students, as well as advocacy on key international student issues through government consultations.

The group meets three to four times annually in person or via teleconferencing and we organise a training event for AGCAS members every 12-18 months.

What the group is looking for

We are particularly keen to encourage applications from all areas of careers activity: employer liaison, information specialists, Graduate Outcomes survey, careers education and guidance practitioners.

You will need to be able to attend up to three meetings per year, two of which are face-to-face. You will also need to devote time to developing resources and taking part in organising and/or delivering training.

Please note applicants should seek Head of Service / Line Manager agreement on their potential involvement in the Task Group before applying.

  • Awareness of current international student issues
  • Passion for internationalisation and international aspects of careers work in HE
  • What you would bring to the group, particularly in relation to innovative ideas for the group’s activity
