AGCAS Annual Conference 2021

Future Ready: The changed world of HE careers professionals

Over the last year, the world in which we work has changed dramatically. Novel methods of interacting and engaging, teaching and learning that could have taken months or years to plan and implement occurred practically overnight.

At AGCAS Annual Conference 2021, we will focus on the impact of these changes on the work of HE careers professionals. Bringing together international and home-grown speakers, new research and our own expert community, we will discuss how we are working now and how we are shaping the future.

Join us for themed sessions on:

  • The impact of policy on careers practice
  • The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on students and graduates and how we support them
  • The global picture
  • Equality and diversity in practice
  • Developing the careers profession
  • New ways of working.

The Conference will feature six 2.5-hours sessions, each comprising a:

  • 45-minute keynote with Q&A
  • 4 x 45-minute parallel sessions, including workshops from Task Groups, Working Parties and Committees
  • and a 30-minute facilitated networking session.
