Winners announced for National Undergraduate Employability (NUE) awards

The winners of the 2020 NUE awards, organised by RateMyPlacement.co.uk, were announced on Friday 28 February. The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of employers, universities and students in undergraduate work experience.

Big winners on the night included Accenture for the ‘Best Recruitment Marketing Campaign’ and Aston University, who picked up two awards for ‘Best University Careers / Employability Service’ and ‘Best Collaboration between a University & Employer’ with HSBC.

The winners of the 7 university awards were:

Best University Placement Service (Under 500 Placements): EPS Employability and Placements Team, University of Leeds

Best University Placement Service (Over 500 Placements): Placements Team, University of Surrey

Best University Careers / Employability Service: Careers and Placements, Aston University

Most Improved Commitment to Employability: Placements Team, Bath Spa University

Outstanding Contribution to Work Experience: Simon Price, University of Central Lancashire (Highly Commended: Nicola Kelly, Birmingham City University)

Best Collaboration Between a University and Employer: Aston University & HSBC
