What we are looking for

We are an active and enthusiastic group and are keen to welcome new members who are working with the creative industries (using the DCMS definition of “those industries which have their origin in individual creativity, skill and talent and which have a potential for wealth and job creation through the generation and exploitation of intellectual property”).

We are looking for a new member to Chair the Creative Industries Task Group. This role will involve, but is not limited to:

  • chairing task group meetings

  • strategic planning for the group, including relevant documentation
  • selection of new task group members should vacancies arise
  • liaising with AGCAS and attending Task Group Chairs’ meetings as appropriate

Applicants should clearly demonstrate their knowledge and experience of the creative industries, and how they can contribute to the workings of the Creative Industries Task Group. The new Chair will be selected on the basis of their knowledge and expertise, leadership capabilities and vision for the next phase of the task group’s activities. Factors such as current job role, location and subject specialisms may be considered to ensure balance of interests in the CITG membership.
