University of Reading wins the AGCAS Supporting Student and Graduate Employability Award 2020

The winner of the AGCAS Supporting Student / Graduate Employability Award 2020 is the University of Reading.

The University of Reading created #RDGGrad, an ambitious career development programme targeting final year undergraduate students. The programme increased finalists’ participation in careers activities by more than 1,500 learning hours per year, more than doubling student engagement with career activities at the most critical time of the students’ career journeys. 

Of the winner, the AGCAS Final Judging Panel said:

“The university set an ambitious project here, with an impressive range of activities. They are employing data really well to plan a truly strategic approach. The university identified an issue with their student body and put together a bold project that addresses what their students really need, and shows measurable improvement in student and graduate employability. The submission demonstrates the impressive story really well“

The winner was announced at the AGCAS Awards for Excellence showcase webinar on 16 July 2020.
