Seeking nominations for the AGCAS Vice President

Have you considered taking a central role in how we run AGCAS? We have a vacancy for Vice-President and are seeking nominations.

The Vice-President takes a lead role in ensuring good governance of AGCAS. As well as taking an active part in Board meetings and decisions, key responsibilities including chairing the AGCAS Nominations Committee (going forward we will run two election processes a year) and the once-yearly Remunerations Committee.

During the pandemic, the Vice-President, along with the President, Treasurer and Company Secretary has met with the Executive Director on a monthly basis to ensure rapid decision making between Board meetings.

If you have a strong empathy with AGCAS’s mission, together with an in-depth understanding of our work and ambitions, perhaps you should consider being nominated for the AGCAS Vice-President. We are looking for Full Member nominees with experience of building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues to achieve organisational objectives, as well as a proven track record of sound judgement and effective decision-making.
