SAMANTHA BROWN, BPP UNIVERSITY WINS THE AGCAS SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION AWARD – INDIVIDUAL 2019

The winner of the AGCAS Significant Contribution Award – Individual 2019 is Samantha Brown, BPP University for her work in running the Bristol Campus careers service. As a result of her contributions, appointments have increased by 25%, the number of events has doubled and comparatively, Bristol students attend the highest number of events each amongst all nine of BPP’s campuses.

Sam is in the second year of running the BPP Bristol Campus Careers Service. She has quickly proven to be an outstanding careers professional, making exceptional contributions in every respect. Staff and students’ comments speak for themselves. Staff describe Sam’s contribution as having a ‘stupendous impact on employment outcomes’, ‘taking things to a whole new level’. Students feel the quality of Sam’s service is ‘unrivalled by previous careers services’ with many saying they ‘would never have achieved a job offer without Samantha’s support’. This extraordinary feedback is due to Sam’s genuine commitment to helping each student achieve their career goals.
