Vacancy on the Nominations Working Party

The AGCAS Nominations Working Party [NWP] is seeking to recruit a new member. The NWP currently comprises of four members (five with this appointment) and meets as and when vacancies on the AGCAS Board of Directors arise. 

Chaired by the AGCAS Vice-President, the NWP are responsible for coordinating and overseeing AGCAS Board elections. As part of their role the NWP also identify nominations for the offices of President, Vice-President and Directors of the AGCAS Board to be elected by the members; giving due consideration to the requirements of the role. Nominations are invited from Full Members of AGCAS, however the Nominations Working Party would be particularly interested to hear from members in regional groups not currently represented on the working party. View the current NWP members.

The candidate for this role would have an active interest in the governance of AGCAS and the ambition to ensure that the Board of Directors is representative of the membership.

The next role the NWP will be focusing on recruiting is the AGCAS President Elect.

Interested?

Members of the NWP will be in attendance at the AGCAS HoS Conference in January 2019 and will be happy to be approached for informal conversations regarding this role.
