More PAID writing opportunities with AGCAS

11 May 2018

AGCAS is recruiting writers to create eight more new Job profiles. The job profiles, jointly produced with our partners Graduate Prospects, will be available on the Prospects website.

New titles

The new titles are:

1. Animal physiotherapist
2. Chaplain
3. Draughtsperson
4. Estates manager
5. Game designer
6. Machine learning engineer
7. Private tutor
8. Urban designer

The new Job profiles will be written from scratch and you will be given detailed writer guidelines to follow, plus an editor to advise you throughout the writing process. The process will include desk-based research and communication with relevant professional bodies and industry professionals. In addition to the Job profile, you will need to submit a minimum of one case study from a recent graduate working in the profession.

The deadline for completion of the work is Monday 16 July 2018.

Payment for completion of the work to deadline and the required standard is £400.

How to apply

To apply to write one of the new job profiles, email publications@agcas.org.uk with details of:

  • which title you would like to write
  • why you want to write for AGCAS
  • any previous writing experience you have
  • any subject specific knowledge and industry contacts you have
  • case study contacts you could draw on.

The deadline for applications is 5pm Friday 25 May 2018.

Writing a Job profile is a great way of developing your knowledge and contacts in a particular job area and helps enrich the resources available to AGCAS members and a wider HE audience, including pre-entry students, students and graduates.
