Inaugural AGCAS Cymru Wales conference success

08 October 2017

The establishment of AGCAS in Cymru Wales is part of AGCAS’ strategic plan to work at a regional level to inform and address key national issues as appropriate. The conference aimed to highlight opportunities for building on existing collaborations and partnerships; as well as start to establish new opportunities to develop inclusive approaches to delivering employability across Wales.

Euros Evans, Head of Careers & Employability at University of South Wales and Chair of AGCAS in Cymru Wales commented on the conference:

“This was an excellent launch event for AGCAS Cymru Wales. With a turnout of over a 100 colleagues from across Wales - it was a great opportunity to network and to meet new colleagues. Many thanks must go to everyone who contributed to the conference including the organisers, guest speakers and to those who delivered workshops."

"AGCAS in Cymru Wales aims to support careers and employability staff within all universities in Wales. Facilitating regional graduate market expertise and its application to our practice and outcomes. Plans will now be considered and priorities set for taking ideas developed at the conference forward in the next year.”
