Vacancies on the AGCAS Nominations Committee: Deadline extended

The AGCAS Nominations Committee is seeking to recruit three new members. The committee currently comprises three members (six with these appointments) and meets as and when vacancies on the AGCAS Board of Directors arise. 

About the Committee

Chaired by the AGCAS Vice-President, the Nominations Committee is responsible for coordinating and overseeing AGCAS Board elections. As part of its role, the committee also identifies nominations for the offices of President, Vice-President and Directors of the AGCAS Board for election by the membership, giving due consideration to the requirements of the role. What we are looking for

Applications are invited from all Full Members of AGCAS, however the Nominations Committee is keen to improve the diversity and inclusivity of AGCAS voluntary opportunities and would be particularly interested to hear from BAME members, or those working in the devolved nations. The candidates for this role will have an active interest in the governance of AGCAS, and the ambition to ensure that the Board of Directors is representative of the membership.

The next role the Nominations Committee will focus on recruiting is the AGCAS Community Director.
