Volunteer Coordinator case studies

05 May 2021

  • Do you work as a volunteer coordinator at your institution or have colleagues who do?
  • Do you have contacts with recent graduates working as volunteer coordinators in other sectors, e.g. charities?

If so, AGCAS would like to hear from you. We are looking for up to three case studies from recently graduated volunteer coordinators (within around five years of graduation) to accompany the AGCAS Volunteer Coordinator Job profile. The profile, jointly produced with our partners Prospects, is available on the Prospects website.

The case studies offer prospective and current students a real-life insight into the profession and give interested students and graduates a flavour of the work and the areas of volunteer coordinating they could work in.

What does being a case study involve?

Completing a case study is a quick and simple process and it can be a great advertising opportunity for you and your university. There is a case study template to complete with questions about the job role, the best aspects and the challenges of the job, how the role has developed and top tips for others interested in the profession.

How can I help?

If you would be interested in providing a volunteer coordinator case study or have contacts with graduates working in a different area of volunteer coordinating who would be willing to provide a case study, please contact publications@agcas.org.uk for details by Wednesday 19 May 2021.
