AGCAS Phoenix, October 2016 – Graduate Destinations

For this issue the GLaM Sub Committee (now the Graduate Employability and Outcomes Data Group) have collated a range of articles and opinion pieces, including perspectives on tracking graduate outcomes from colleagues overseas and the realities of managing the DLHE collection process.

Dan Cook offers his overview of the work HESA has undertaken so far on the destinations and outcomes consultation. You can join in the debate and read about the review’s latest developments via #NewDLHE on Twitter.

This issue also includes contributions from members of the AGCAS Education Liaison Task Group, who work in collaboration with HECSU to produce the annual What Do Graduates Do? report. Over the next few pages, members of the group explore the labour market for postgraduates, consider the self-employment landscape, extract the evidence of the true impact of work experience and, when it comes to career intentions, ask what really drives millennials.
