Individual Membership

Please note your institution must be a Service Member if you are to qualify for individual membership. Your application will need to be supported and approved by the Service’s named Head.   

Individual members of AGCAS should commit to operating within/to the AGCAS Code of Ethics.

There is no additional cost to your institution to add you to their Service Member subscription.


Full membership is open to any staff who are currently employed by a careers service which is an AGCAS Service Member, or whose responsibilities are sufficiently aligned as determined by the Head of Service (includes careers professionals working in faculties/schools of study).


Partner membership is open to non-careers service staff who are involved in the provision of careers education, information, advice and guidance, including, but not limited to, academics with an interest in employability, freelance staff and professional staff in outreach or similar roles.

Research and Knowledge

  • Access and the opportunity to contribute to our termly e-journal, Phoenix, which shares best practice in careers and employability service delivery.

  • Opportunities to write content for AGCAS publications and other key outputs, such as What Do Graduates Do?
