We do it for the biggest names and we do it in specialist areas. That includes law, accountancy, financial services, nursing, technology and more. And it covers a range of qualifications to develop careers at every stage and every level of development.

What you’ll do

You will develop relationships with employers able to offer 6-month work placements to international students studying on MSc Management programmes with PDP. You will maximize the numbers of students securing meaningful placements through preparation of students with the skills, knowledge and professional & personal attributes needed to submit a professional CV, be interviewed and subsequently placed successfully. You will deliver curriculum sessions to MSc and iMBA students on preparation for work as part of PDP/ESAP modules. You will support the employability team contribution to cross-University employability projects and service improvement initiatives.

Role requirements

You have previous work experience in a relevant professional field (careers, work placement services, apprenticeships, graduate recruitment, HR) and an understanding of the graduate recruitment market and assessment/selection recruitment practices of employers is required. You will work with international students in an employability setting. You have experience of good client relationship management, and you can easily build rapport, trust and confidence in relationships. You can convey a professional image within BPP. You have experience of teaching in large and small groups and can work collaboratively across multiple teams. You have the ability to coach and guide on career development. Additionally you have planning and time management skills and can work under competing pressures while meeting deadlines. You take initiative, can identify issues and provide workable solutions. Occasional business travel between London, Birmingham and Manchester may be required.

 What we offer

BPP exists to help people make the most of their talents – just ask the students who study with us every year.  We aim to have an equally positive impact on our employees' careers by providing the culture, career development opportunities and extra benefits to inspire you personally and professionally.

BPP invests heavily in your career development – you will have free access to all of BPP's courses – from gaining an ACCA accountancy qualification, in-house leadership and management training or wide range of personal and professional development opportunities to a Graduate Diploma in Law, you can take your career in any direction you like.

Add to this a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days’ holiday, private medical insurance, life assurance, group personal pension plan and the cycle to work scheme, and you’ll find the BPP Professional Education Group a great company to work for.
