UEA Careers Service is seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to play a key role in progressing employability and the work of careers advisers across all UEA Schools of Study.

Reporting to the Head of Careers, you will line manage and oversee a team of Faculty-affiliated careers advisers who work with undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students.  Forming part of the Careers Service management team, this is an exciting opportunity to progress the strategic alignment of careers activities within Faculties and provide expertise and insight to advance UEA student employability, with an emphasis on collaborative working.  You will work closely with Associate Deans Employability and other employability stakeholders to increase provision of work-related and work-based learning within courses, working to commitments in the UEA Plan and Employability Strategy.  You will be responsible for coordinating Careers Service and other employability data, statistics and student feedback for management reporting, service improvement and demonstrating the impact of employability initiatives.

You will be a Higher Education professional, educated to degree level or higher, with considerable experience in student careers and employability.  You will have management experience and the ability to lead and motivate teams.  Building positive working relationships with tact and sensitivity is essential to the role, as is the ability to work for the benefits of multiple stakeholders.

It is anticipated that interviews and presentations will take place Thursday 30 April and Friday 1 May 2020. This post is available with an immediate start, on a full-time indefinite basis.
