Need a new challenge? Come and help us deliver careers and employability services at the Open University.

This is an exciting and creative role that allows for innovative approaches to embedding employability and personal development planning activities within the curriculum and delivery to students via online platforms and some face to face events. The role involves working closely and developing partnerships with the Faculty of Business and Law and other units in the univeristy. 

You should have a first degree, a professional careers qualification or equivalent and proven experience in delivering careers advice and guidance preferably within higher education. You should have an understanding of the issies affecting student employability and experience of developing and writing careers related content. Experience in delivering services through online media would be beneficial. 

As part of Careers and Employability Services you need to be able to adapt rapidly to change, show initiative and solve problems creatively. An understanding of the needs of adult or distance learners is an advantage.
