Do you want to make a difference? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of effective careers and employability services to students on the Disabled Veterans Scheme (DVS), a scholarship fund offering disabled veterans free study with The Open University. You will be part of a small team delivering enhanced careers support to DVS students including guidance, placements and other opportunities designed to develop their employability and career aspirations.

This is an opportunity to further develop your online delivery skills in the process of creating innovative services including the proactive delivery of online forums and webinars, to a specialist cohort of students.

You should have a first degree, a professional careers qualification, or equivalent, and proven experience in delivering careers advice and guidance preferably within higher education and in delivering services through online media. An understanding of the needs of adult or distance learners is an advantage as is experience or an interest in individuals who have worked in the armed forces.

You should also have a sound understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities and diversity.
