Event Terms and Conditions

AGCAS will endeavour to run all events and courses as advertised. However, we reserve the right to cancel an event or course at any time without any liability for any consequential or indirect loss.

It is understood and agreed that all AGCAS training attended, or devised and developed for AGCAS members is the copyright of AGCAS, and as such, cannot be used for commercial benefit by individuals or other organisations.

AGCAS offers online booking for the benefit of all members.  A part of this process we provide HOS with a final view of the service’s cart, and ask HOS to confirm or reject the contents of the cart.  Please note that if the contents of the HOS, or service’s cart, are not confirmed or rejected two weeks before a course or event takes place, then the AGCAS office will confirm on the HOS behalf.

Please be aware that photographs may be taken at AGCAS events which may be used in AGCAS promotional activity.

Cancellation

To protect AGCAS against losses incurred in organising the course, the member/service/organisation agrees to the following conditions should the booking be cancelled:

  • Withdrawal between two and six weeks before the start of the course ‒ the member/service will pay 50% of the course fee.
  • Withdrawal within two weeks of the start of the course ‒ the member/service will pay 100% of the course fee.    

These charges may be negotiable if a replacement delegate can be found, though we may still need to charge an administration fee.
