It is an opportunity for organisations to demonstrate their support for HE careers professionals, and the AGCAS mission and vision, by collaborating with us on activities to support the community in the development of thought leadership and best practice in student career development and graduate employment.

 Unitemps Logo 300DPI

Started by the University of Warwick in 1997, Unitemps is a university-owned, campus-based recruitment service which addresses the key staffing challenges in higher education. The Unitemps model allows institutions to tackle issues such as legislative compliance, efficiencies and cost savings, while enhancing the overall student experience and meeting the temporary employment requirements of your institution.

With its heritage firmly grounded in the higher education sector, Unitemps is an employment solution placing students, graduates and workers from the wider community in temporary, permanent and internship roles, both on campus and within local businesses.

Our network is currently formed from 18 UK based offices, including those at Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Edinburgh, our new additions from the last financial year.

For almost 25 years, Unitemps has made a significant and tangible contribution to enhancing student employability. 10 of our branches sit directly within university careers departments, ensuring that our national network is well positioned to help students find part-time work, industry placements and graduate jobs upon completing their studies.

Our flexible model has allowed a wide range of universities to benefit from partnering with Unitemps, while our proven online systems have enabled branches to work remotely throughout the coronavirus outbreak.

Despite the pandemic, Unitemps has paid out more than £41 million in wages over the last 12 months* and has continued to support both partner institutions and businesses with finding talented candidates, while helping students find work.
