Edge Hill University in West Lancashire will be hosting this annual Careers Fair aimed at students of all years looking to work in the health and social care sector.
Edge Hill University in West Lancashire will be hosting this annual Careers Fair aimed at students of all years looking to work in the health and social care sector.
This 2010 Careers Fair promises to be more successful than ever. Last year there were over 40 stands offering student graduate opportunities, part time jobs and the chance to gain valuable and relevant work experience. The health and social care sector is currently a growth area and even more stands are expected for our 2010 Careers Fair. Opportunities range from nursing and supporting children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Your chance to find out about the history of Heinz, their products and their graduate talent scheme includes lunch and a tour of the 1950's purpose built factory. The event is free but you must make your own travel arrangements and travel costs will not be reimbursed.
It has to be Heinz! Visit to the famed Heinz factory at Kitt Green in Wigan, Lancashire on Tuesday 18th May 2010. Limited places available so first come first served.

Please note that this event is primarily for AGCAS members in the North West region. As this training course is run regionally by AGCAS members, the AGCAS Office will not be involved in bookings. Careers Services have altered almost beyond recognition over the last 10 years. One of the most significant areas for change is in their involvement with teaching, either working alongside academic departments or through additional modules and workshops. The role of Careers Services and the range of methods used to support employability development, advice and guidance staff working alongside academic departments is a major focus of our important June 2010 Conference, "Employability in the Curriculum; Beyond the Bolt-on?"
