AGCAS Awards
AGCAS's Awards for Excellence encourage, reward and share good practice amongst higher education careers practitioners by promoting high quality, creative, innovative and collaborative projects and high professional standards across the full range of HE careers work.
Employability Award
Awarded for demonstrating an outstanding commitment and contribution to enhancing employability in services to students and graduates.
Entrepreneurship Award
Awarded for demonstrating an outstanding commitment and contribution to enterprise and entrepreneurship education by services for students and graduates.
ICT Award
Awarded for demonstrating an outstanding use of ICT in the delivery or management of HE careers services to students, graduates and/or employers.
Innovation Award
Awarded for demonstrating an outstanding innovative/creative approach in services to students and graduates.
International Award
Awarded for demonstrating an outstanding commitment and contribution to supporting international students and/or employers.
Marketing Award NEW in 2009
Awarded for demonstrating an outstanding and effective use of marketing of an HE careers service to students, graduates and/or employers.
Research Award
Awarded for presenting an outstanding research idea or carrying out a successful project which contributes significantly to the understanding of professional theory and/or practice in HE careers work.
Staff Recruitment and Development Award NEW in 2009
Awarded for demonstrating an outstanding commitment and contribution to the recruitment and development of a diverse and effective staff team.

Awarded to an employer for demonstrating an outstanding commitment and contribution to facilitating work-related learning.
AGCAS/HECSU Careers Service Website of the Year Award (annual)
2008 winner: Open University
Awarded for demonstrating an innovative and user-friendly approach to HE careers service website development.

John Roberts Memorial Prize (annual)
2008 winner: Eleanor Donoghue, University College Cork
Awarded to the student who is adjudged to have produced the most outstanding work as part of the Certificate, the Diploma or the MA qualification courses during the academic year of the award.
Lifetime Achievement Award (biennial)
Awarded for demonstrating an outstanding and sustained commitment and contribution to AGCAS.
Outstanding Contribution to Developing Employability and Skills in the Curriculum Award 2008
This award is part of GTI's TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards. Recipients of this award were nominated by AGCAS member services and shortlisted by a panel nominated by the AGCAS Board of Directors.
