Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Membership is for you if you work in an institution with a member careers service, but you do not work in the service itself.
Why join?
This level of membership is appropriate for you if you are involved in the provision of careers education, information, advice or guidance in any way.
Benefits of Affiliate Membership include:
- Access to AGCAS-Servicelink and Networklink, extremely active email discussion lists, which give members the opportunity to discuss issues of common interest, and the opportunity to join a range of other specialist AGCAS discussion lists.
- The support of a network of around 130 services and over 1700 individual members based both in the UK and Ireland and throughout the world.
- Discounted rates for all AGCAS training, including professional qualifications.
- Free copies of Phoenix (the official journal of AGCAS) and ARENA (the association's members-only monthly electronic newsletter).
- The opportunity to contribute to AGCAS Task Groups.
- Access to areas of the AGCAS website limited to Associate and Affiliate Members.
- Access to bursary funding when registered for any of the AGCAS/Reading qualification programmes.
- Discounts on attendance at AGCAS conferences.
Pricing
The cost of Affiliate Membership is £53.81, plus VAT as applicable. You need to have your application approved by the Head of Service in your institution's careers service. There is no expectation from AGCAS that the joining fee will be paid by the careers service; it may also be paid by the applicant or the department in which the applicant works.
