AGCAS offers Test User Ability (formerly known as Level A) psychometric testing via distance learning. The course is offered all year round and can be started whenever suits you best.

    Guidance Skills Advanced, Warwick - NOW FULL

    THIS COURSE IS NOW FULL

    Are you a careers adviser looking to develop your counselling skills in guidance intervention? This five-day course will expand and enhance your professional competence. All experienced careers advisers are welcome. This course is part of the optional Guidance Skills (Advanced) module within the AGCAS/Warwick PG Diploma/MA in CEIGHE, but is open to all.

    This AGCAS NW Regional Training day will give those advising students considering training to teach and/or already training and considering their next step the opportunity to update knowledge and get tips from trainers and recruiters on how to best advise students.

    THIS COURSE IS NOW FULL

    A one-day session run by a highly experienced ex-graduate employer, for heads of service, deputy heads and senior careers and employability professionals responsible for developing employer engagement strategy.

    Working with clients with an autism spectrum disorder, and working with students with mental health problems, Newcastle

    This AGCAS NE Regional Training session will investigate issues, positive and negative, facing clients with an ASD and those with mental health problems. It will identify what careers services can do to support clients with these additional needs, and where we can refer clients when their needs are beyond our remit.

    Training the Trainers, Warwick - NOW FULL

    THIS COURSE IS NOW FULL

    A four-day residential course for any staff providing training for peer groups, whether as trainers for AGCAS or running events internally for careers service colleagues, academics or other staff groups. This course is part of the optional Training and Coaching module within the AGCAS/Warwick PG Diploma/MA in CEIGHE, but is open to all.

This AGCAS East Midlands regional training event will explore some of the issues facing students with a non-visible disability, and enable participants to share good practice and information resources.
