    NLP for Careers Guidance - Introduction, London

    A one day introductory course for all careers service staff who want to know more about and begin to practice Neuro Linguistic Programing in their workplace. Intended for any careers service staff who want to know more about the uses of Neuro Linguistic Programming in a context of careers advice and guidance. No previous knowledge of NLP is necessary.

    This two day residential course is a practical introduction to guidance interviewing skills, appropriate to both short and longer interventions. The programme contains a range of learning methods, including presentation, discussion, case studies and video interviews with students. We only accept 5 participants onto this course in order to create a supportive, secure and focused environment for learning.

    For those who have some knowledge or experience of NLP. A chance to gain further knowledge & experience, practice in the workplace. This course is run on two separate days with an interval for practice in the workplace. (Please note that the first day is a Thursday and the second day is a Wednesday.)

    Could you improve your one to one guidance? This course aims to equip experienced careers advisers with the knowledge, structure and higher level skills necessary to implement a counselling approach to guidance intervention.

    This one day course is designed to help participants enhance their practice via the integration of career development theories. We will focus on the classic theories of John Holland and Donald Super, and the contemporary learning and narrative approaches of John Krumboltz and Mark Savickas.

    This three day residential course aims to give an overview of the main sources of careers information and techniques to assist students with their research. It will cover trends that may impact upon collection policy, resource evaluation & selection and quality frameworks. Dissemination methods, including web content & structure, marketing materials, and web 2.0. technologies, will be examined to enable participants to determine the appropriate balance in their service.
