The Chinese Job Market, London

  1. Thu 25 Oct 12

A half-day workshop in partnership with the British Council China to improve understanding of the Chinese job market.

Following the success of previous events, this is the third career advisers' workshop in London organised by the British Council China in partnership with AGCAS.

The British Council China is committed to enhancing the employability and competitiveness of Chinese and British graduates from UK universities looking for employment in China's job market.

During the past decade, there has been great change in the Chinese graduate market for overseas returnees. With the fast development of the economy, the competitiveness between local students and overseas returnees has become very intense. As well as this, there is an increasing number of British students exploring employment opportunities in China. It is important that students from the UK wishing to work in China have a realistic understanding of the employment market there.

    Who is it for?

Our speakers have rich experience in human resources and graduate recruitment in China and they will share their insights on needs and demands of employers in China. We hope this workshop can help UK-based careers advisers to better understand China's competitive job market, the recruitment strategy of China's employers, as well as practical operational information, which in turn can help to improve services for Chinese and British students and further improve an institution's profile with a good graduate career development record.
