Virtual Connections for a Distanced Region, Oxford
-
Mon 19 Mar
This is a South West and Wales AGCAS regional event, exploring ways to communicate creatively and effectively with students over a wide geographical area.
This event aims to:
• Provide a good understanding of why social media is important for our distanced region
• Map social media knowledge to recognised needs of practitioners in our region in supporting students to use social media for self-marketing and job research, in developing improved service reach, impact and reputation and in enabling professional networking
• Collectively develop social media networks to invigorate information-sharing across the region
• Showcase the process of creating consistent service-level strategies for use of social media
• Inspire those who feel less confident in using social media
• Provide a networking opportunity for the region, together with tools to continue the conversation virtually
