Public Sector Graduate Recruitment and Sector Update, Cardiff

This event will provide careers advisers and information staff with an update on the implications of policy and economic change on graduate opportunity within the South West and Wales regions. These are areas with an historically high proportion of employment in sectors such as health, education and public service. Speakers with insight and information on workforce plans in their sector will provide practitioners with insight into current trends and likely implications for recruitment and employability.
Participants will:
• Update their knowledge of employment and workforce trends in public services
• Understand any relevant distinction between policy and plans within England and Wales
• Be better placed to anticipate changing opportunity patterns and so offer realistic and
pragmatic guidance to their clients
• Gain insight into what will make future applicants present as employable candidates given
increasing competition for opportunityHow to book
Please note that this event is primarily for AGCAS members in the South West region. As this event is run regionally by AGCAS members, the AGCAS office will NOT be involved in bookings. However, if you wish to use AGCAS training vouchers in payment then please contact Jan Cornish at the AGCAS office.
