The AGCAS Heads of Service Conference 2012 will take place on 5 and 6 January 2012 in Dublin. The event is a unique networking opportunity, with a programme designed to help heads of higher education careers services rise to the many strategic challenges they currently face. The programme has been devised by heads of service in Ireland, with input from colleagues across the UK. Please see below for the most up-to-date version of the programme.
Venue
The conference, including the conference dinner, will take place in Bewley's Hotel Ballsbridge in Dublin.

Deputies and new heads
Deputy heads of service are also welcome to participate in the full conference. An additional optional training day for newly-appointed heads of service will precede the main conference on 4 January. Further information is available in the programme below.
Meet heads of service
The conference dinner on Thursday 5 January, the plenary session at 10.00am on Friday 6 and the Friday morning refreshment break are open to recruiters and suppliers with an interest in employability, careers education, information, advice and guidance and/or graduate recruitment and the labour market. This provides an opportunity for graduate recruiters and providers of appropriate products and services to meet leading HE careers and employability practitioners and decision makers, as well as discuss trends in the global, UK and Irish graduate labour markets.
