The premier event in the HE careers calendar is a three-day conference, comprising three stand-alone days. It will be of interest to anyone interested in careers information, advice and guidance, employability and/or the graduate labour market. The theme is Working Smarter for Sustainability and Success. The conference will be held at The University of Nottingham, Jubilee Campus.
The conference will include a mix of top quality keynote presentations, a wide range of workshops and an exhibition. Day 2 includes the conference dinner and AGCAS Awards for Excellence ceremony.
Every day will offer plenty of formal and informal opportunities to network, make new contacts and socialise with other AGCAS members, careers professionals, employers and representatives from professional organisations.
The benefits to yourself and your organisation of getting involved include a raised profile with well-informed HE careers professionals from the UK and overseas, and the opportunity to debate and network with a wide range of delegates including managers and policy makers from higher education, business and government, as well as people who do a job like yours.

The conference will include a mix of keynote presentations, a wide range of workshops and an extensive exhibition. A full programme is available below.
Networking
The conference offers formal and informal opportunities to network, make new contacts and socialise with AGCAS members, other careers professionals, employers and representatives from professional organisations. Ideally, attend the whole conference or, if you cannot be there for all three days, just come to part of it. The programme below will help you decide which day(s) are most appropriate for you.

AGCAS Awards for Excellence 2011
The AGCAS Awards for Excellence will be presented at the conference dinner on Wednesday 14 September. The shortlist has been announced.
