LSE Volunteering Fair, London
-
Tue 05 Oct 2010
The LSE Volunteering Fair is an exciting opportunity for not-for-profit organisations to meet and recruit committed students who are keen to volunteer, engage with communities and apply their knowledge and skills to real life situations.
Every year, the LSE Volunteer Centre has around 800 students and staff registered on its database. This fair is aimed at facilitating contact between organisations and students in the beginning of the academic year, when interest in volunteering is at its highest.
We welcome bookings from registered charities with current volunteer opportunities in London. Places are free of charge but we expect organisations to notify us if and when they recruit volunteers from LSE.
Comments from last year's exhibitors:
"We really enjoyed the event. The quality of candidates was impressive and the students were really interested in what we were talking about. We look forward to working with them soon."
"The team deserves to be congratulated for a well managed and organised event. We felt looked after and the assistants were very helpful. The students were also suitably informed and organised."
"I thought the event was extremely well organised, one of the best Fairs I have been to. The venue was great, staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient"Date(s) & Timing 05 Oct 2010 Venue LSE, Ground Floor, Old Building, Houghton Street Add to calendar Download event to my Outlook Calendar
