Information what?! Effectively Promoting and Marketing..., Durham
-
Fri 23 Apr 2010
All too often careers services and their information staff and resources are misunderstood by potential and even current users. It is our job to let them know there is more to us than meets the eye! The aim of this event is to help us to effectively promote what we do to make people aware of exactly what is on offer, how as information staff we can help them (rather than just make the appointments for advisers!), and how to utilise the space and resources we have to make the information as user friendly as possible. There will be speakers with marketing expertise, library/information backgrounds and from other careers services.
The following speakers have been confirmed for this event:
Durham University Communications Office
