Peer Review–Sharing Good Practice in Guidance Work, Nottingham

   A one day course for careers advisers designed to consider principles and strategies relating to the sharing of good practice through observation of guidance interventions. This event will be particularly useful for those considering introducing a peer review system.

   By the end of the session, participants should be able to:
   
   - Describe the purpose of sharing good practice
   - Recognise the benefits of observation
   - Feel more comfortable about giving and receiving feedback on professional practice
   - Design appropriate tools for recording observations
   - Prepare an action plan for implementing a system
