   Are you providing training to peers? Or thinking of doing so? This very interactive, lively and developmental course is a must for anyone with an eye on training.

   Who is it for?
   Any staff providing training for peer groups, whether as trainers for AGCAS, or running events internally for careers service colleagues, academics or other staff groups.
   
   What will you get from it?
   By the end of the course, participants should be able to:
   - analyse and implement an appropriate training design model;
   - identify the different training roles with AGCAS, including that of trainer on the AGCAS/Reading qualification courses;
   - describe theories of learning and group dynamics;
   - demonstrate a range of skills to facilitate the delivery of training courses;
   - provide and receive feedback and recognise its role in the assessment process;
   - demonstrate coaching and mentoring skills;
   - develop a personal action plan.

   AGCAS qualification
   This course is an optional module for those enrolled for the AGCAS qualification PG Dip and Masters.

   If you intend to do this course as part of a qualification you will first need to complete the National Course Application Form (see below). Once AGCAS has offered you a place on the course you will need to send a completed University of Reading Module Registration Form (see below) as soon as possible, and certainly before the course runs, to the University of Reading (the address is on the form).
