Going Global - Acting Local: Working in a Global Economy, Nottingham

    Nottingham Trent University Careers Service is organising an employability event on the theme of working in a global economy.

    The programme includes presentations from placement students of NTU representing the Business School, School of Architecture, Design & the Built Environment and the School of Science & Technology.

    Christina Kerr, Marketing & International Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP will give the opening address. This will be followed by a selection of four employer led workshops, facilitated by representatives from Paragon Law, Freeth Cartwright LLP, emda, Experian and DTZ.

    Who is it for?
    The event will be of interest to all careers staff, academics and recruiters with an interest in the issues internationalisation and globalisation.

    What will I get from it?
    The aims of the conference are:

    - To enable organisations/companies to share good practice in recruiting graduates to work in today's global economy;

    - To share experiences of placement students' and graduates working abroad and non-UK students working in the UK;

    - To maintain and foster links between, academic colleagues and Graduate Recruiters;

    Timing
    The programme will commence from 9.45am-3.30pm

    There is a discounted rate of £50.00 +VAT for AGCAS members which includes lunch and refreshments.
