Working with Dyslexic Students, Cardiff

This one-day event will look at ways of helping dyslexic students into employment and will include talks by three highly regarded speakers with experience in the field.
- Nicola James is an occupational psychologist who has set up her own consultancy company Lexxic based in London. Nicola supports dyslexic individuals who are looking to discover more about their strengths as a dyslexic and what types of jobs would align with these strengths. She will tell us about her approach and the one-to-one coaching program she offers to clients.
- Dr Andi Sanderson works as an education consultant for iANSYST Ltd. She will explain to us the different tactics she encourages clients to adopt when dealing with HR and line managers.
- Mark Ingle is currently working as a dyslexic support tutor at the University of Glamorgan. Prior to this he worked as an occupational psychologist for Jobcentreplus and so has a broad range of experience to offer to us. Mark will reflect on the work he undertakes with dyslexic students.
Venue
This event will take place at the University of Glamorgan in their new training suite located next to the railway station in Cardiff, so affording easy access to all.
