Getting 'insider' industry info to your clients, Nottingham

   This workshop is organised by Skillset (Sector Skills Council for the Audio Visual Industries - broadcast TV and radio, film, interactive media and photo imaging) and includes sessions on using labour market information with clients and direct contact with employers and industry specialists, so that you can get the inside track on how to get into and succeed in this sector.
   

   To help us to meet your needs, please specify on your booking form two questions that you would like to ask about careers in the audio visual industries.
    
   Who is it for?
   Firstly for AGCAS members in the Midlands region. Others may apply and, if there are still places available when services in these regions have been accommodated, offers of places will be made.
    
   What will you get out of it?
   Skillset staff will be joined by industry professionals to discuss:
   
   - Key attributes industry professionals are looking for when recruiting
   - The diverse range of careers opportunities available, including detailed job profiles
   - How to get in and get on, including information on entry and progression routes
   - What qualifications are required and preferred by employers
   - Regional perspectives - what are the local careers opportunities for your clients?
