Putting Research Outcomes into Practice: DOTS Model Revisited, Birmingham
-
Wed 07 May
Bill Law, one of the authors of the DOTS model of Career Guidance, has been revising the model to make it more appropriate for higher education and more useful for career management in the curriculum, not just for one-to-one guidance. The new model is ready to go from theory to practice and Bill is seeking practitioner feedback.
This training course is run by the AGCAS Midlands Regional Training Group.
Who is it for?
Firstly, for AGCAS members in the Midlands region. Others may apply and, if there are still places available when services in these regions have been accommodated, offers of places will be made.
What will you get out of it?
By the end of the day you will have had the opportunity to:
- briefly revisit the classic DOTS model;
- see (and take away with you) the changes Bill is making;
- influence the new model by your feedback.
