The Chinese Job Market, Edinburgh

  1. Fri 06 Nov 15

AGCAS is grateful to our friends in the British Council, China, for once again giving our members the opportunity to meet and hear first-hand from business leaders in China about the Chinese job market.

The British Council is committed to enhancing the employability and competitiveness of Chinese and UK graduates from UK universities looking for employment in China's job market.

During the past decade, there have been momentous changes in the Chinese job market for overseas returners. The economy continues to develop and competitiveness between local graduates and overseas returners continues to be intense. Alongside this the number of UK students exploring employment opportunities in China continues to grow.

    Who is this event for?

The speakers offer rich experience in human resources and graduate supply and demand in China. We hope this workshop helps UK-based HE careers and employability professionals to better understand China's competitive job market, the recruitment strategy of China's employers, as well as practical operational information, which can in turn help improve services for Chinese and UK students and further improve an institution's profile in China.
