The future of graduates, the future of guidance

The three-day 2009 AGCAS Biennial Conference will be held at Brunel University from Tuesday 8 September 2009, finishing after breakfast on Friday 11 September.

Almost 600 delegates have registered so the conference will provide an excellent forum for AGCAS members, employers, academics, representatives of professional bodies, policy makers and others to share knowledge, information and professional experience - and to build new contacts and networks.

    Conference programme

The conference encompasses a range of keynote speeches, workshops, seminars and an exhibition. There are also plenty of informal opportunities to network, and socialise. Day three of the conference (Thursday 10 September) will have an employer focus with seminars and workshops aimed at recruiters, as well as careers professionals.

    Venue

The conference will take place at Brunel University, with en-suite accommodation provided on campus.  The conference dinner on Thursday 10 September is at Twickenham Rugby Stadium. Wednesday evening will provide the opportunity to choose from a range of local restaraunts.

    Workshops and seminars

There will be a number of opportunities for delegates to participate in workshops and seminars throughout the conference. When booking to attend the conference, all delegates will be asked to choose their preferred workshop and seminar choices for each session. We will aim to accommodate these preferences as far as possible. Further details of workshop and seminar options can be found below.

    Exhibiting

There will be a large exhibition taking place on all three days.
