Welcome to the About AGCAS community
AGCAS communities have been designed for careers professionals with an interest in specific topics. There are already communities covering a wide range of interests, as well as twelve different regions of the UK and Ireland - and we have plans for plenty more.
The pages are open to everyone but certain facilities, eg comments, the ability to contribute content, etc, are restricted to AGCAS members or to other specific groups. To gain access to as many of the community facilities and resources as possible, don't forget to sign in to the site.
This page is intended to give you a flavour of what a community page typically looks like, but each one is expected to develop differently depending on the wishes and needs of those who use it. To look at and contribute to a real community, use the search facility above.

AGCAS announces Board election result
Following the recent poll of Associate Members of AGCAS, Sue Spence, Careers Adviser at the Careers and Employability Service at the University of Huddersfield, has been elected as Company Secretary on the AGCAS Board of Directors. Sue will take up her position with immediate effect and will serve for a period of three years.
