Welcome to the About AGCAS community

AGCAS Web Communities have been designed for careers professionals with an interest in specific topics. There are already communities covering a wide range of interests, as well as twelve different regions of the UK and Ireland - and we have plans for plenty more.

The pages will be open to everyone but certain facilities, eg comments, the ability to contribute news articles, events, jobs, etc, will be restricted to AGCAS members or to other specific groups. To gain access to as many of the community facilities and resources as possible, don't forget to sign in to the site.

This page is intended to give you a flavour of what a community page typically looks like, but each one is expected to develop differently depending on the wishes and needs of those who use it. To look at and contribute to a real community, use the search facility above.
