2017 AGCAS training and events

As 2016 draws to a close we have compiled a list of some of the scheduled events that AGCAS will be hosting in the new year. This is by no means a complete list, however, it gives a flavour of just some of the opportunities that we will be providing in 2017.

Heads of Service Conference (HOS): January 5-6

This is an annual event open to all Heads and Deputy Heads of Service.  If you’re an aspiring HOS, it’s always good to see what’s on the agenda for this event. We offer optional Leadership training for aspiring HOS, new HOS and refresher training for current HOS, the day before this event.

Annual Conference: September 5-7

This is our main conference of the year, open to all members, employers, academics and non-members.  It is the Professional Development Conference for Careers and Employability Professionals in the UK and increasingly, internationally.  The 2017 Annual Conference will take place in Nottingham. You’ll be hearing a lot more about this conference as we announce this year’s theme and start inviting workshops in the New Year and we look forward to your contributions.
