    An Academic Career

    An Academic Career is designed to help students, alumni and researchers who might be considering a career in academia. Though developed by a team at The University of Manchester, it is intended for use by staff, students and alumni from any university. Since its launch in March 2011, An Academic Career has had well over 100,000 hits from all over the world. It is designed to give readers a realistic understanding of what a career in academia involves and what it takes to be successful.
