Disability Task Group: careers support resources

The AGCAS Disability Task Group (DTG) works in the interests of supporting disabled students and graduates. Recent output of the group has included:

What Happens Next? looks at the first destinations of disabled graduates on a national scale.

Get that job: a guide for graduates with disabilities - a programme aimed at supporting the transition of disabled students and graduates into employment.

• Regular training courses for AGCAS members focusing on a range of related areas. Previous topics have included Enhancing your work with disabled students and graduates and Guiding students through the recruitment and selection process.

• A bank of case studies to help practitioners working with disabled clients.

• A list of FAQs to aid practitioners to keep up-to-date with issues relating to disability.

• A blog, through which we update likeminded professionals with information about relevant training events and resources, along with sharing good practice of work with disabled students.
