Changing or leaving your course

Some students find that higher education is not for them or that they've chosen the wrong course. This guide, produced by AGCAS in partnership with GTI Media, provides practical, easy to follow advice to help students make the right choices at what can be a stressful and confusing time.

Key topics covered include:

• finding out what's wrong
• developing a plan of action
• how to make the most of your existing course
• choosing an alternative course
• taking a break from study
• leaving your course

The guide also explores the financial and other considerations that need taking into account when making a decision and provides advice on what you can take from the experience and how you can market this positively to employers.
