Growing Experience: A Review of Undergraduate Placements in Computer Science

This research review, commissioned by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), provides a comprehensive review into placement activity for undergraduate students studying computer science in the UK.

The review included a survey of 40 higher education institutions seeking information on the quality and quantity of current computing placements and sought to understand the factors that underpin student take up. Major technology employers were also engaged in the research to understand their views on the graduate talent emerging from the system.
