Post-study options and transition routes for international students

UKCISA (UK Council for International Student Affairs) has developed a Working After Studies section of their website, which provides an overview of the main immigration categories for work after study, illustrated by case studies of international students supplied by the AGCAS Internationalisation Task Group.

The UKCISA content offers detailed information for international students coming to the end of their studies in the UK who might be considering the possibility of staying on in the UK to work. The website explains some of the work schemes that are likely to be of particular relevance to these students, their individual requirements and how to apply under them. The AGCAS case studies of international students provide a personal insight into the transition process.

The information is aimed at international student advisers, careers advisers and other members of staff helping international students and recent graduates to find work and apply for leave in order to undertake that work.
