Academic Careers in Europe
This report from the Academic Careers Observatory (ACO) provides an overview of the different national academic systems and academic career patterns in Europe. It groups European countries into four models represented by the UK, Denmark, Poland and Italy. The report's focus is on those elements that facilitate or hinder academic mobility, both within national systems and across Europe. It also touches on issues such as salaries, gender and early-stage career moves.
