Professions for Good
Professions for Good is led by organisations representing more than a million chartered professionals worldwide. They offer input to policy making, campaign on specific professional and public issues, and collect information and research surrounding the professions.
Together, their aim is to unite the leading professions to maximise their contribution to a fairer society, a strong economy and better informed policy making.
The first campaign is focused on fair access to the professions and social mobility. Its plans include:
• to promote the Common Best Practice Code for High Quality Internships;
• to survey professions to establish benchmark levels for social mobility and to measure progress;
• to define the most telling indicators of social mobility;
• to create and host an online Social Mobility Toolkit.
