Careers Profession Alliance

The Careers Profession Alliance (CPA) brings together some of the  professional bodies representing providers of careers education, information, advice and guidance across the UK. This group has developed materials on the value of guidance, a common code of principles and a statement of its aims.

Shortly after the Browne Report was published in October 2010, the Department for Education in England published the report of the Careers Profession Task Force, Towards a Strong Career Profession, into which AGCAS had some input through other CPA members.

AGCAS is not, however, a member of the CPA.
